"Rocky" was born to us here at Hausman Pony Farm. In his very first show in 2008 as a yearling, in Blackfoot, ID, Rocky won Grand Champion and Champion of Champions! He won 3 - 50 lb. box of potatoes (1 from each of the 3 judges). So we nick-named him the "Spud Stud"! In addition to being extremely well bred (see his mother, Freedom, on our Mare Page), he is a perfect gentleman and a joy to be with. Now in the 2009 show season as a young 2 yr. old, Rocky continued up to ASPC Congress undefeated under 18 different judges! And when there was a Champion of Champion or Supreme Champion class offered, he won that too!
Rocky was 2009 Congress National Classic Stallion Junior Champion! He then went on to win the Reserve National Grand Champion (Over). He has already earned about double the number of points needed for Hall of Fame as a young 2 yr. old. In 2010 , Rocky again went almost completely undefeated in Halter, and then also in Classic Country Pleasure Driving! He finished out his season at the 2010 National Congress Show by winning the 3-4 Yr. Old Congress Classic Halter Stallion Champion, then better yet, He won the Congress Grand Champion Country Pleasure Driving Championship Stakes! Rocky has now entered Shetland Hall of Fame in Classic Country Pleasure Driving, in addition to Classic Halter! "Rimfire" finished requirements for HOF in Halter, and was Grand Champion at the World Show in Ohio, 2008. He was Reserve Senior Halter Champion at the National Congress Show, 2008. He was also 2008 All Star Classic Reserve Champion Senior Stallion. Rimfire was unable to begin his driving career in 2009 due to handler's personal problems, but went almost completely undfeated driving in 2010, which turned out to be his real forte! He swept away the 2010 Congress driving competition by winning both the Grand Champion Classic Roadster AND Pleasure Driving Championship Stakes! The only other Classic Driving Stakes Championship at the 2010 Congress was taken by our other stallion CH Rock-N-Image! Sired by the Congress Champion, Rocket's Will Doo, who has already sired many other Champions, HOF, and even a multiple time Pony of the Year in Halter AND Performance, Cornerstone's Valiant Man. And this cross between Rimfire's sire and dam has produced the best of the best. Rimfire's full brother was the 2010 Congress Grand Champion Classic Stallion in halter. What impeckable breeding! And what outstanding performance! Rimfire has entered Shetland Hall of Fame in Classic Halter, and is only 1 point away from Hall of Fame in Classic Pleasure Driving, and only 1 win away from Hall of Fame in Classic Roadster Driving! He sure turns all heads every time he enters the show ring.
