Hall of Fame Winners!

August 27, 2011

Our ponies earned 5 Hall of Fame distinctions during this year's show season. Our 2010 Classic Performance Pony of the Year, Rimfire, finished earning his Hall of Fame in both Classic Pleasure Driving and Classic Roadster Driving this year. CH Sir Lancelot, Wilk. Silent Obsession, and Wilk. Rachel Alexandra all earned their Hall of Fame in Halter this year, and all as 2 yr. olds. Watch for these three driving next year.

PONY OF THE YEAR

Our stallion, Rimfire was just named 2010 Classic Performance Pony of the Year!!!! He has had an impeckable 1st driving show season. From his very first show at driving until his Grand Champion finale spectacular at 2010 National Congress Show in Ardmore Oklahoma, Rimfire went almost totally undefeated driving in both Classic Roadster and Open Pleasure, thus earning the highly coveted National award of Performance Pony of the Year.

2010 National All Stars!

Its official now! The 2010 National All Star Champions have now been announced by The ASPC. These are the top performers or top point winners totaled for the entire 2010 show season nationwide, and listed below are the Hausman Pony Farm winners who won 1st and 2nd placings:

2010 Top Hall of Fame

December 14, 2010

CH Rock-N-Image (Rocky) is now the ASPC 2010 top Hall of Fame achiever overall for all categories nationwide! And Rimfire is 2nd! Additionally, Rocky is the 2010 top Hall of Fame #1 for Classic Country Pleasure Driving and Rimfire is the top HOF #1 for both Classic Pleasure and Roadster Driving overall nationwide! What an unbeatable show record for 2 of the best performing ponies out there! THese guys are both beautiful and talented, while having the most pleasant temperaments and want-to-please personalities.

Mother's 80th Birthday

October 1, 2010

On our mother's 80th birthday, Oct. 1, 2010, we corronated her with a tiarra, dressed her in a royal robe, placed a boquet of flowers in her lap, and escorted her in the back seat of our new Pony Drawn Carriage to the South Shore Harbour Resort. Then we drove her on to the Marina where we took her on a dinner cruise on a yacht.

ASPC JOURNAL COVER

Our 2 stallions, Rocky and Rimfire, just earned the honor of being featured on the cover of the National Shetland Pony Registry's Journal, "THE JOURNAL of the ASPC/AMHR"! The October/November issue, which is featuring the National Shetland Congress Championship Show, has put them on the cover as driving Grand Champion Stakes winners at the 2010 Congress in Ardmore, OK.
Then inside the Journal they put some more photos and tell more about the ponies in the "On the Cover" section.

CONGRESS WINS

September 23, 2010

Our 2 stallions, Rock-N-Image (HOF) and Rimfire (HOF), just won everything they competed in at the ASPC National Congress Championship Show! This was after having an almost undefeated 2010 show season in Halter (Rocky) and driving (Rocky & Rimfire)! Rocky was the 3-4 year old Classic Stallion (over) Congress National Halter Champion, and the National Classic Country Pleasure Stakes Driving Grand Champion. Rimfire was the National Classic Roadster (over) and National Classic Pleasure Driving (over) Congress Stakes Driving Grand Champion. What a pair of ponies - the best!!! We thank Robby and Marcia Barth, of Showtime Training Center, for expert training and showmanship for us once again this year!

JUMPER UNDER SADDLE

September 23, 2010

Our young mare, Wilk. RU Sneaking a Peek (Katy), this summer won Champion of the Evergreen Hunter/Jumper Division at 2 shows in a row against a lot of competition. She has been under training in Wisconsin preparing for our 8 year old granddaughter, Julia, to compete on her in jumping events when she is ready.

SHOW RESULTS

September 23, 2010

In July we took 3 yearlings to their 1st show, and our "Lance" won Grand Champion Stallion under all 3 judges, and "Obsession" Grand Champion mare! Then 2 weeks later we took 4 yearlings and a 2 year old, and they did it again, except our "Texas Ranger" went this time, and he took away one of the Grand Champion stallion ribbons from Lance under one of the judges, and Obsession took the Grands again in Classic mares. Our 2 year "Grace" won the Grand Champion Modern Pleasure Mare under all 3 judges. And our 7 year old granddaughter, Jana, won 1st place with Obsession under all 3 judges in her youth class of 6 ponies at Jana's 1st show ever!

Meanwhile, our stallions, CH Rock-N-Image (HOF) and Rimfire (HOF), were going virtually undefeated all season in their driving divisions, and halter (for Rocky)! Rocky winning all the halter and Classic Country Pleasure Driving, and Rimfire winning all the Classic Open Pleasure and Classic Roadster driving. What a record, and what great ponies!!!

Valley Lodge Trail Ride & Houston Parade

We drove our two ponies, "Channy" and "Ellie" in the VLTRA trail ride and then in the downtown Houston Parade in February. They did terrific over the 55 miles we drove them, pulling a wagon over 3 1/2 days. They captured the attention and admiration of adults and children alike all along the trail and parade, including well seasoned horsemen.
The 2 ponies were featured by Debrah Wrigley on ABC News in Houston one evening after arriving in camp on the trail. Please click here to see the link to the news clip and pictures!

"Rocky" and Inspiration just received their HALL OF FAME award plaques in the mail. Rocky earned almost double the number of HOF points, and almost four times the number of Grand Champions he needed to enter Hall of Fame as a barely 2 year old!

Rocky is also currently the leading NATIONAL ALL STAR point pony (and by a long shot) for 2009 in Classic Stallions:

* 2 year old Stallions,
* Junior Champions, and
* Grand Champions!

Driving Show Event

Our 2 mares, Wilk So Enchanting (Channy) and Wilk Modern Ellegance (Ellie), did a terific job of driving as a team in their 1st driving event at the Haven Hill Fall Challenge in Navasota, Texas on November 14, 2009. They took 1st place ribbons in all 3 events, Dressage, Cones, and Hazards at the training level. They move so beautifully in step together and with such elegant trotting action, that we got so many comments from antendees of what a nice pair they were. They have gotten off to a grand start and are such a joy to drive!

Under Robby Barth's handling, "Rocky" has had an UNDEFEATED perfect halter show season as a young 2 yr. old in 2009 by winning Grand Champion Classic Stallion (Over) under 18 different judges leading up to ASPC Congress August, 2009.

At ASPC 2009 Congress Rocky won Classic National Junior Stallion Champion (Over), and then Reserve National Grand Champion Stallion (Over).

What a record, and what a pony!
