2026 CONGRESS CHAMPIONS

As a yearling, CH A True Melia, bred & raised on Hausman Pony Farm, won the Red Roses at 2026 National ASPC Congress Show by being honored as Grand Champion Modern Pleasure Mare. 

As a foal of current year (weanling), Melania's full brother, CH A True Barron, was honored as he earned 2026 National Congress Modern Pleasure Junior Champion Stallion. Modern ASPC rules do not alow weanling Junior Champions to enter the Grand Champion competion class, although the MP Reserve Junior Champion Stallion that Barron defeated was allowed into the Gr Ch class because he was a yearling.

Both Melania and Barron are almost identical and were sired by our 3 time ASPC National Pony of the Year stallion, CH General Sul Ross (HOF) (link to webpage below)

and out of our 1 time Pony of the Year mare, Wilk.Yes Its True (HOF). (link to her page below)

The Mare, True, also is a previous Congress Champion from being driven by our grandaughters in youth driving classes AND ridden in youth riding classes, including Modern Pleasure Roadster under saddle ridden by our 7 year old granddaughter!
